In-Class Instruction
Our computer-equipped Information Technology Lab (ITL) is designed for hands-on instruction in how to use the library and other electronic resources. We can also come to your class elsewhere on campus. In-class instruction may include basic orientation to the library, advanced research for upper-level classes, navigating specific resources, and tips on avoiding plagiarism. All of the library instruction sessions can be customized for individual classes or assignments. Please contact us if you would like more information on library instruction or would like to schedule a session. Please schedule instruction sessions at least 48 hours in advance.

LibGuides/Research Guides
Research Guides (course guides) are librarian-curated websites - usually devoted to a specific topic or subject/discipline - featuring library resources and instructional content. LibGuides, used as a learning tool, are intended for faculty, students, and other researchers. They are a useful place to begin research or gain familiarity with a subject/topic. LibGuides may cover relevant resources (such as reference sources, databases, and librarian-curated media) as well as the research process and literacy topics. Course guides can be conveniently linked to Blackboard and will be available on the library website. If you're interested in having a course guide designed specifically for your class, contact Paula Hopper or Anthony Arcangeli.

Research Consultations (Student Support)
