Reserves

Instructors can place materials on reserve in the library in order to make them readily available to students in their classes. Reserve items may be print materials, audiovisual materials, or computer programs. Most reserve materials do not leave the library; however, instructors can choose any loan period that they feel is necessary in order for their students to complete a particular assignment. Use this form to request resources to be placed on reserve:

The BCCC Library values our collaborative relationship with faculty when it comes to collection development. Your input as faculty helps us develop a collection of books that is valuable, varied and representative of BCCC’s programs and interests. Please see our Collection Development Policy in the Policy manual below for more information. Use this form to request books for library purchase.

InterLibrary Loan

  • The InterLibrary Loan service allows current BCCC  students, faculty, patrons and staff to borrow books, articles, and other materials not available in BCCC Library's holdings. 
  • Before submitting a request, check the library's holdings first.
  • Request your items as soon as possible; items can take a week or two to arrive.
