Library Mission
The mission of The Beaufort County Community College Louise R. Lester Library is to provide resources and services that strengthen the needs of our students, college, and community; advance knowledge; and inspire lifelong learning.
- We ensure that all patrons (students, faculty, staff, and community) have access to digital and print resources as well as information services that promote citizenship and participation in society.
- We advance knowledge by providing free and open access to materials and information that reflect Beaufort County Community College’s community and world perspective.
- We inspire lifelong learning by endeavoring to meet the needs of a population with diverse abilities and learning styles, helping create more able learners and researchers.
