Welcome! If you are looking for exemplary online learning, you’ve come to the right place! Not only does Beaufort County Community College offer over 60 fully online programs, we also lead Eastern North Carolina in ECP award-winning online courses.
At BCCC, we are committed to providing students with superior online instruction delivered by qualified and caring faculty. Our online courses offer the same rigor and quality as traditional courses while providing the convenience and flexibility needed for busy lifestyles and schedules. At BCCC, our goal is your success. You belong here!
Learning is a very personal process. At BCCC, we understand that each student has different learning styles and preferences. Because our goal is for you to be successful, BCCC offers a variety of course types. Review the options here to determine the best fit for you.
At BCCC, online courses are delivered through a learning platform called Blackboard. All instructors at BCCC use Blackboard in some capacity, so it will be important to learn how to navigate courses and use available tools efficiently. Fortunately, we provide a variety of resources and support.
Although online learning provides the flexibility that fits with many of today's busy lifestyles, the virtual classroom is not ideal for everyone. There are important aspects to consider before making your decision. Certain personal characteristics and skills as well as technical requirements are necessary for online learning success. Review these requirements, then, before making your final decision, use the VLC Online Readiness Assessment tool. It will provide feedback to help guide your decision.
Take advantage of the convenience and flexibility of online learning while earning your degree, diploma, or certificate! BCCC offers a variety of fully online programs - perfect for the busy or working student.
